ASHLAND, Ore. - Five Oregon State wrestlers recorded major decisions for team bonus points as the Beavers rolled past the Southern Oregon Raiders on Saturday afternoon, 29-8. Redshirt freshman Kelly Kubec (Lake Stevens, Wash.) added to his perfect dual meet record, improving to 5-0 with a 12-4 win over Trevor Lofstedt at 133 pounds. He improves to recording bonus points in 78 percent of his matches this season. Sophomore Jon Brascetta (Aurora, Colo.) earned his first major decision of the season in a 12-2 major decision over Justin Mills at 157 pounds. Junior Keegan Davis (Salem, Ore.) tallied his first as well, routing Mike Lauer, 21-8, at 165 pounds. And both senior Ben Harris (Langley, Wash.) and redshirt freshman Clayton Jack (Vacaville, Calif.) both recorded their first major decisions over Tyler Thomas, 12-3, at 174 pounds and John Bates, 10-1, at heavyweight. Senior Heinrich Barnes (Pretoria, South Africa) picked up three points for Oregon State with a decision over Seth Roy at 149 pounds, while senior Kyle Bressler (Federal Way, Wash.) chalked up a 3-0 decision over Shaun Ceremello at 184 pounds. And redshirt freshman Chad Hanke (Dayton, Ore.) snapped a two-match streak with a 9-3 decision over Chase Locke at 197 pounds.
