No. 23 Coyotes Shut Down No. 16 Raiders

The Coyotes held off that run, but a pair of Speer free throws cut the lead to 81-73 with 7:00 to play and a free throw by Rhiannon Dickison had the lead down to seven at 83-76, but that’s as close as the Raiders would get.

The Coyotes came out and took a commanding 55-33 halftime lead and held the Raiders to 32 percent shooting for the first 20 minutes.

A 15-0 run over the next three minutes cut the gap to 65-55 on an Ashley Baker layup.

The Coyotes held off that run, but a pair of Speer free throws cut the lead to 81-73 with 7:00 to play and a free throw by Rhiannon Dickison had the lead down to seven at 83-76, but that’s as close as the Raiders would get.
