Robbie Findley Sets Career Goal Record for MLS’ Real Salt Lake

Findley was an outstanding scorer during his career at Oregon State. He is third all-time in school history with 28 career goals.

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Former Oregon State men’s soccer standout Robbie Findley scored his eighth goal of the season Sunday in a 1-0 win for Real Salt Lake over the Seattle Sounders, giving him 22 for his career and his 20 with the RLS squad.

The 20 goals in a RLS uniform make him the all-time leading scorer in franchise history. He surpasses Jeff Cunningham who held the previous record of 19.

"It's definitely a good feeling,” Findlay said following the game on Sunday. “There's been a lot of good goal scorers that have played here, so I'm pretty happy."

Findley was an outstanding scorer during his career at Oregon State. He is third all-time in school history with 28 career goals.

He was drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy in the second round of the 2007 MLS SuperDraft. He played in nine games and scored two goals for the Galaxy before being traded to Real Salt Lake in during the 2007 season.

Findley’s eight goals lead the team this season with 10 games to play.
