SALEM, Ore. - For the second straight week, junior Erin Sailors (Anchorage, Alaska) was named conference and regional Pitcher of the Week thanks to a perfect 2-0 performance to go along with one save and her first career no-hitter, as announced earlier today by the Portland-based conference office.

Sailors, a third-year player out of Grace Christian High School, helped lead Corban to a 3-1 record last week that included a three-game winning streak. Over the past week, Corban has won six of its last seven games, including a pair of three-game winning streaks.

The junior right-hander was a perfect 2-0 last week with one save in 14.1 innings of work, as she allowed 10 runs (two earned) to go along with her team-high total of 20 strikeouts (avg. 1.42 per inning).

Against The College of Idaho on Friday, Sailors earned her seventh victory of the season via an 11-9 Corban win. The junior right-hander allowed nine runs (two earned) in a complete game performance that included a game-high 10 strikeouts.

Less than twenty-four hours later, Sailors came out and registered the best performance of her career as she struck out a game-high nine Eastern Oregon batters en route to holding the Mountaineers without a hit in a complete-game performance. Sailors' no-hitter came in a slim 2-1 victory, as the visiting Mountaineers' lone run came via a wild pitch.

In the night cap versus Eastern Oregon, Sailors came on with two outs in the seventh inning and got the game's final out to earn her second career save. Despite allowing the visiting Mountaineers to get within one run, Sailors got EOU's final batter via her 10th K of the afternoon in helping Corban earn the 5-4 win and in the process broke her own school-record for strikeouts in a single season with her team-high 119th this year.

Currently, Sailors ranks third in the conference in strikeouts and first all-time in Warrior softball history with 321 K's. Besides her strikeouts this season, Sailors also ranks in the top five in the conference in saves (1st -- 2), opposing batting average (2nd -- .196), Earned Run Average (4th -- 2.62), batters struck out looking (5th -- 27), and wins (5th -- 8).

Sailors was also named NAIA Region I Pitcher of the Week, which puts her in the running for the national award that will be announced on Wednesday.

Corban's softball team currently sits at 11-16 overall, 8-8 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action. The Warriors are back in action this weekend, as Corban hits the road and travels south for a pair of doubleheaders against Southern Oregon (Friday, April 18th) and Oregon Tech (Saturday, April 19th). The Corban-Southern Oregon twin bill is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. in Ashland, while the Warrior-Hustlin' Owl first pitch is slated for 11:00 a.m. in Klamath Falls.
