Wang took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and Robinson Cano homered twice, completing a series sweep of the Red Sox with a 5-0 victory on Thursday.

Salem-News.com Sports (August 30, 2007 07:42)Illinois State Adds Oregon Transfer Oguchi Salem-News.com SPORTSThe Houston native recorded six double-digit scoring efforts last season, including a season-high 25 points against Cal-Irvine (NORMAL, Ill. ) - Illinois State head coach Tim Jankovich added an explosive scorer to his backcourt Wednesday with the announcement that 6-foot-5 guard Chamberlain Oguchi will transfer to ISU from Oregon.
Oguchi was a fixture in the Ducks lineup the past three years, and helped them reach the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament last season.
He will sit out this year due to NCAA transfer rules, but will have one season of eligibility with the Redbirds beginning in the 2008-09 campaign. Read Full Article

The 2007 season gets underway Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Reno’s Mackay Stadium.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Nearly 2,000 tickets remain available for OSU students wishing to attend Thursday’s home opener against Utah.
Students may acquire their ticket by showing a valid OSU Student ID. Tickets may be picked up from the Front Ticket Booth at Gill Coliseum until 2:00 p.m., Thursday.
Tickets also remain for the general public. The Main Ticket Office (Room 107) in Gill Coliseum will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The Bucks 6th overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, Yi Jianlian signed his contract in Hong Kong following a negotiating session with Mr. Chen Haitao, owner of the Guangdong Tigers.

The Ducks, 29-8 with an NCAA Elite Eight appearance last year, open the season with a pair of Eugene exhibitions, Nov. 2 versus St. Martin’s and Nov. 6 against Concordia (Ore.).
The regular season begins with Oregon hosting the four-team World Vision Invitational Nov. 10-12 at McArthur Court.
