(SEATTLE) -  For three-plus quarters, USC was teetering toward becoming the sixth and mightiest top-10 team to fall this weekend. Ultimately, the top-ranked Trojans survived.

(SALEM, Ore. ) -  Junior forward Lauren Miller scored two goals, including the game-winner with 4:22 remaining, as Willamette University rallied past visiting Lewis & Clark College, 2-1, in a Northwest Conference game at Sparks Field.
After L&C scored on a 25-yard shot by Aly Robinson at 60:11 that went against the run of play, the Bearcats put together a comeback.

(SALEM, Ore. ) -  Willamette University senior Sarah Zerzan won the Women’s 5K Cardinal Race in 17:20.15 and the Bearcats claimed the men’s and women’s team titles at the 33rd Annual Charles Bowles Invitational Cross Country Meet Saturday at Bush’s Pasture Park.
Zerzan won the Women’s 5K Cardinal Race by just under 11 seconds, as she claimed her second consecutive Charles Bowles Invitational title. Read Full Article

(CHENEY, Wash.) -  Overcoming a pair of first-half mistakes, the Portland State offense made the big plays in the second half on the way to a 28-21 Big Sky Conference road win at 21st-ranked Eastern Washington.
PSU commited two turnovers after long drives and trailed 14-7 at halftime. But, a nice mix of run and pass in the second half led to three touchdowns and kept Portland State in first place in the Big Sky Conference.
