Medical Insurance Multi-Millionaires: A Reprise

The Congress is supposed to be thinking (??) about monitoring or controlling this banditry. I have a strong suspicion congresspersons are benefiting from these scallywags pilfering.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - I posted the original article on Salem-News.com, Medical Insurance Multi-Millionaires in a Multi-Billion Dollar Boondoggle, on August 23, 2009. I was sooo far off about the money grabbing proclivities of these Jesse James – type bandits that I am profoundly embarrassed. I figured these gonifs were only high-grading maybe a few million dollars each for their rainy-day expenses. Then I hear on TV news that in each of the ten biggest medical insurance money factories that the C.E.O.’s were “stealing” more than $10 million per year. How about the lesser bandits?? The precise figure wasn’t given but 10 million bucks will buy a lot of chopped liver and the caviar and champagne that goes with it. Another bit of concurrent news was that their financial golden parachutes when they leave these money-making machines goes into hundreds of millions of dollars and maybe even a billion dollars. That is a lot of chopped liver, caviar and champagne. I hope I am wrong about this but if anybody has the scoop please let your congressperson know what these highway robbers are doing with billion dollar bail-outs of the likes of this Madof – type criminal. I CAN’T EVEN CONCEIVE WHAT A MILLION BUCKS LOOKS LIKE! ********************************************************** Dr. Phillip Leveque has degrees in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology and minors in physiology and biochemistry. He was a Professor of Pharmacology, employed by the University of London for 20 years, during which time he trained the first doctors in Tanzania. After training doctors, he became an Osteopathic Physician, as well as a Forensic Toxicologist. Before any of that, Phil Leveque was a Combat Infantryman in the U.S. Army in WWII. He suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder more than 60 years after the war, and specialized in treating Veterans with PTSD during his years as a doctor in Molalla, Oregon.
