Israel Thanks Saudi Arabia for Not Condemning Baby's Death by Settlers

Jewish extremism in Israel is an increasing problem.

18-month-old Ali Dawabsheh was burned alive in the deliberate fire.

(SALEM, Ore.) - According to a major Israeli newspaper, the Maariv, the director general of Israel's Foreign Ministry Dore Gold telephoned Saudi Arabia Major General Dr. Anwar bin Majid and thanked him for lack of conviction of the Israeli settlers, in the unspeakable crime of burning Ali Aldvabshh, a nursing Palestinian baby, alive.

On July 31, 2015, up to four suspected Jewish attackers threw firebombs at two houses in the West Bank village of Duma.

They torched the Dawabsheh family home while they slept.

Neighbor Ibrahim Dawabsha told Reuters news agency that he heard people crying out for help and ran to help.

"We found the parents outside with burns, they said there was another son in the house, we brought him out and then they said there was another boy inside, but we couldn't reach the bedroom because of the fire. He was left inside until rescue forces came," he said.

18-month-old Ali was killed in the night-time attack, then the boy's father, Saad, succumbed, dying Aug. 9th, and his mother, Riham, died from her injuries 3 weeks later. The only survivor of the family is a four-year old son, Ahmed, who was hospitalized in serious condition.

Witnesses said they saw two masked men outside the house watching as the family burned. "They didn’t even care that the child was still crying inside."

Hebrew graffiti was sprayed on a wall nearby that said “Revenge!” next to a Star of David.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon reported that Israel knows who carried out the crime but can’t put the murderers on trial, as that would reveal their sources. It has since been learned that three of the four men who committed the crimes were not born in Israel, but were Jews that relocated from the United States.

The New York Times reports that "several of the alleged instigators, currently being detained indefinitely, are not native-born Israelis — they have American roots."

Gold's call to Saudi Arabia also asked for pressure on Hamas to refrain from any retaliation and to ensure that the Arab-Israeli peace process was not faced with damage.

It is worth noting that there have been frequent meetings between Dore Gold and Anwar, as these events betray the ideals Arabic Saudi Arabia had called on the Liberation.
