The event is on September 22nd, 2006, at the Portland Art Museum in Portland.
(NEW YORK, N.Y.) - An event in Portland this week called “Ladies Who Launch Live” is designed to entice female entrepreneurs, and functions as a motivational and constructive platform for women to enhance their lifestyle. The event will promote and maximize entrepreneurship as a lifestyle through a series of panel discussions, interwoven with action-driven exercises to help propel new business and creative projects for women. “Ladies Who Launch embraces female entrepreneurship, which has made us one of the country’s largest lifestyle companies for women. We support the female entrepreneur in her determination to be enterprising in her career, as well as her lifestyle. Ladies Who Launch is more than excited to spread this messaging and contagious motivation to the women of Portland,” Ladies Who Launch Partner, Beth Schoenfeldt, says. The event, hosted by Ladies Who Launch, will function as a large-scale networking forum and will feature panel discussions by several high-profile speakers including, Jennifer Worick, established author and co-writer of “The Worst Case Scenario Survival Handbook: Dating & Sex”; Julie Mancini, director of Portland Arts & Lectures; Janelle Elms, lead instructor of eBay University; Rebecca Shapiro, Artist and Creative Director of Pig & Panda Inc.; Jeanne Fitzmaurice, Founder of Design-Her Gals Inc. and Victoria Colligan and Beth Schoenfeldt, founders of Ladies Who Launch. The event will also include a private trunk show featuring the newest products and designs by up-and-coming artists and designers. Attendees will receive gift bags that will include the newest must-haves for the season. The “Ladies Who Launch Live” event is scheduled for Friday, September 22nd, 2006 at the Portland Art Museum in the Mark Building located at 1119 SW Park Avenue. The event goes from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with an after party to follow. The cost to attend is $100 at the door, or $80 if you pre-register at www.ladieswholaunch.com.
