Thank you, Hank, for your kind words. Certainly the idea of millionaires from other states telling us how to conduct our lives in Oregon is ripe for a NB treatment. I've got so many ideas at the moment, I can't say when I'll get to it, though. Having too many ideas is better than having too few, I guess.

Leonardo: Agree completely re creative enterprise and personnel, and enjoying your fine work. Suggest splendid new source source the silly campaign situation on the Saxton side --PLEDGED to perverted tax-group while seeking Oath of Office from people of Oregon... ?? !!

I'm glad visitors are enjoying my strip. Many people seem surprised that Salem has creative people living within her boundaries. They shouldn't be. There are creative people here as there are elsewhere. Sometimes not thriving is what drives you. I often hear "there just isn't that much to do around Salem." Maybe it's that lack of distraction that drives me inward into my imagination. I manage to keep pretty busy in creative endeavors and so does everybody else I know. I'm about 8 installments ahead in Nota Bene, so I can drop a couple of hints about upcoming adventures. There are two more episodes of FDR XIII in the pipeline-- perhaps more at a later date, a strip on globally warmed America in the year 2056 called "When the Cornbelt Moves to Saskatoon," a grifter's tale called "I (Don't) Spy!" and a number of other surprises. Return each week Wednesday or Thursday (maybe we should nail which day down) for the next exciting adventure!

Leonardo, very interesting work and a great concept. Salem must be thriving to support this.
