Stripped of Liberty for Avenging Drug Dealer's Sex Crimes Against an 11-Year Old Girl

An update on Former Political Prisoner Ali Khalid Abdullah

Ali Khalid Abdullah
Ali Khalid Abdullah

(DETROIT, Mich.) - A most unique and distressing story has been under investigation by Civil Rights Advocate William Coleman, a former Oregon Prison Guard who blew the whistle on racism and hate crimes at the Oregon State Penitentiary and barely escaped the ordeal without a prison sentence of his own.

William Coleman

Coleman has been in contact in recent months with a man whose story is chilling; a man who did what any man should do in the given circumstance, and ended up being tossed in prison for 10 t0 20 years. Ali Khalid Abdullah is a New Afrikan (Black) man whose political beliefs are that of an anarchist. He founded of the political organization Political Prisoners of War Coalition (PPWC) in 1994/95 while sitting at the Charles Egeler Correctional Facility in Jackson, Michigan USA.

Ali was charged with ‘Assault with Intent to Rob While Armed’. He was sent to prison for his involvement in trying to shut down a major drug dealer because one of the drug dealers, drug sellers sexually molested an 11 year old girl as payment for the girl’s mother drug bill owed. As a result of finding this out, Ali and three of his comrades went to take 'People's Justice' out on the drug dealer and his companion by going after one of their phony businesses where volumes of drugs were distributed and large stashes of money was held and transferred.

For his actions the courts felt he acted as a vigilanté for taking the law into his own hands. "The hands of The People where it belonged rather than allowing the state to do nothing', according to the Website, Biography And Political Background Of Ali Khalid Abdullah

From the time Ali was incarcerated, he has continued to fight for the people. He has continues to struggle for liberation and justice for All people. However, as a result of his political activities Ali met much repression from prison authorities which raged from being constantly transferred from facility to facility, mail rejected and tampered with, property damaged by correction officials and an attempt on his life by other prisoners based on a bogus story prison officials put out on Ali, hoping this would stop his political attacks against prison officials. Ali has been up for parole since 1996 with a recent parole hearing in February 2000 and each time they have denied him parole for unsubstantiated reasons.

Ali developed a powerful network where revolutionaries, activities and socially conscious individuals have come together from all walks of life... bridging the barriers of language, distance and borders to defend truth and to fight for freedom.

Gaining advantages where he can, none of this has been easy for Ali Abdullah. In addition to surviving endless crimes at the hands of the state, Ali was denied proper medical care, and ended up dealing with severe physical problems that the Michigan prisons ignored. The Website US Political Prisoners, states:

"Many US prisoners, such as Ali Khalid Abdullah, are denied insulin if they are diabetic, by American doctors in the employ of the system. Ali complained that he was temporarily blinded because of this, stumbling around in 'general population' and was even in a diabetic coma for a time in an outside hospital.

"In the 2004 corporate media sensation about Iraq and Abu Ghraib, the plight of US Political Prisoners such as Ali Khalid Abdullah remains buried under racist lies and the rationalizing of a system built on African peoples blood.

"It is essential that the plight of US Political Prisoners and all prisoners languishing in medical neglect and dehumanized conditions is known to the people of the world, in order to halt this American Nightmare".

Watch this video which offers a glimpse into the window of this man's life. It has been hard and unjust and the fact that Mr. Ali Khalid Abdullah is still with us, is a miracle of sorts. He needs support and those in the Detroit area who are reading this, or anyone else for that matter; there is email and contact information with the video, share your love with this warrior for truth and help him continue to evolve into the great spokesman for peace and liberty that he should properly be. Coleman, and another advocate named Angela Caldwell, have been working hard for U.S. prisoners who know very little about justice in this day and age, their contributions, matched by those of men like Ali Abdullah, give us all a fighting chance.

I see William Coleman is continuing in his quest to set human beings free, In time he will have success in reducing the criminal violence of officials in Oregon. I sure hope he cleans a few clocks along the way.  I know Mr. Coleman is not violent, but it would be interesting to see him be allowed to enter a ring with some of these OSP scumbags, they would be hauled away on stretchers.  However I know what is really going on, that is that Mr. Coleman is being the person he is meant to be, helping those who have had to survive incredible injustice.  My hat's off to you William Coleman.
