Salem-News.com Under Attack Again?

Salem-News.com disappeared today in the UK and on the U.S. east coast.

(SALEM) - Isn't it odd that on a day that we are breaking news about a nuke protest in India where police have killed at least one; carrying hard hitting 911 articles, and writing about a possible assassination attempt in Bangladesh, that Salem-News.com would conveniently stop showing up everywhere except the west coast of the U.S. where we are based?

I know we have enemies; we are a hard driving Human Rights news group with connections that would make any journalist's head spin. I know governments that practice state terrorism would like to see us go up in a cloud of smoke, but something is taking place that we can't put our finger on and it is an invisible assailant that is censoring our news in all of England from what we can tell, and more regions.

The emails advising of this make us very nervous because we know that extremely important news is being missed. Those reading this who have the option: please republish our articles on sites particularly in the UK and on the US east coast.

Barry Chamish sent an article to our newsroom today (You Wanna Fight? The Mass Murders of the Peaceful Labor Zionists) where he explains that strange technical problems have been plaguing operations he is involved with. Considered that he is Israel's most hard hitting investigative journalist, I think Barry is about as unpopular with his home country as our operation. That is to say they hate us.

I'm not trying to paraphrase Barry's article - there is far more to it - but this mysterious technical assault that is blocking our site in particular regions is the highest level of technical intervention and, as Barry writes, 'Tomfoolery'. We aren't fooled, we know that all Internet traffic is routed through Tel Aviv and we know what the reputation of Mossad is when it comes to this type of behavior.

Two days ago I attempted to show my brother the story that I think started our dilemma with reduced traffic. It is a May 2008 account of former U.S. President James Carter revealing for the first time to the world, officially, that Israel is in possession of hundreds of illegal U.S. supplied nuclear warheads which the government of Israel has pointed at all of its perceived enemies. Every attempt to raise this permanently posted article failed. What the hell is going on?

I do have an answer: I just heard on the news that the group Anonymous hacked GoDaddy today which is our server host, but who and why? Hey folks from Anonymous, we thought you supported Salem-News.com, what gives if that was an action of yours? I do not believe at this point that the group is responsible. NPR announcers attributed the 'credit' for the hack attack to a Twitter person using the name 'Anonymous Owner' and I ask, do they ever check these things or is it more like a new 'bin Laden' tape? My background with this group tells me that they are a loose collective, not an 'owned' group, instead they do the 'owning' of others. I know for a fact that the group attacks groups like MasterCard and that they know GoDaddy is more oriented toward private Web groups.

If this group is responsible, and I do not believe they are, they would guilty of collateral damage and I term this a 'friendly fire' incident. NPR also featured a politician describing how U.S. drones are perfectly legitimate, think about it. Even the best mainstream media still plays by the government rules. Drones are the devil's airplane.

It was that very story about Carter's statements regarding illegal undeclared Israeli nukes that led to our near downfall. At that time, in May 2008, Salem-News.com had reached the point where we were receiving more than 17,000 daily visitors. Even at the lowest hours of the day, we never dropped below 500 unique visitors per hour. Then, that night after publishing the story of Carter's Israeli nuclear Revelation, our 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight hour saw 35 people access our site.

From that day forward, our traffic instantly and overnight, dropped from 17k+ visitors a day to less than 6k visitors every 24-hours. We wrote about this at the time because I was ready to call it, toss the towel, whatever term you like best.

We have had big traffic days, but all of these years later, 25,000 articles; and our daily traffic average barely gets close to 17k.

The analogy is having a 100k watt FM radio station that published a story that sat poorly with government, and having the wattage reduced to less than 50k without the consent or knowledge of the agency in question, that is us.

We do not understand now or then, how such a growing and popular news site could drop off in a single day. We were had, and there are no traces. One person researching it for us at the time said, "Mossad has tech people that make MIT grads like like kindergarteners" and those words never left me. So, I have dedicated eight long years to making this into a truth machine and we are paying through a nose we didn't even know we possessed.

But I will find a way to resolve this, regardless of what it takes, and I hope technically oriented people might feed their thoughts to us, share what they think or know... The Department of Justice showed interest in this in 2008 when we contacted them, but it was necessary for us to do the groundwork and we are not financially able to do such things properly. If anyone is inclined I would sure appreciate it.

Just remember what is taking place, it will come to a conclusion one way or another, but I think it is clear that something isn't right in the online landscape. We cover news from Hamas, Hezbollah, the remnants of the Tamil Tigers and other so-called (say BULLSHIT!) 'terrorist' groups that represent the needs of the occupied and terrorized populations unpopular with Israel and other U.S. backed governments that specialize in ethnic cleansing. To whoever is doing this to us, we will get to the bottom of it.
