(CHENNAI, India) - One boat reached Uvari with one seriously injured, other conditions not known, no news coming from Inside Idindakarai. Situation is very bad. People need medical attentions are started suffering. School teachers are inside compound, TV services are disconnected, phones are not reachable.

Human Rights Violations against Protesting Tamils In the Kudankulam Nuclear Plant in Tamil Nadu, India:

• People are being pushed to the ocean by lathi charge and tear gas
• Sathyam TV team at Koodankulam were thrown at the sea by policemen
• Times of India reporter's head was broken on lathi charge
• Indian Express Camera Man also brutally attacked by Police
• All other reporters were chased away by the police
