Two Mosques in Kokarat, Karen state, Thananzari District, Myanmar were destroyed by Bombing Last Night by Buddhists

In Burma, Thein Sein's government is neither taking action against those who are responsible for bombing Mosques and torching Muslim houses nor allocated funds to repair Mosques and rehabilitation.

(DHAKA, Bangladesh) - Last night at 11:00 p.m some Buddhists suddenly arrived in front of a Mosque in Kokarat, Karen state, Thananzari district, Myanmar, on the border with Thailand and threw bombs at the Mosque and then threw more bombs at another Mosque in Kokarat.

The bombs destroyed the buildings, which are both older and historic Mosques in Kokarat. The accusations are against Rakhines living in Kokarat; that is who people say are responsible for the bombing of the Mosques.

The religious hatred has spread throughout the whole of Burma. In fact, the Rakhines are doing their best to spread Islamaphobia throughout the country and the RNDP (Rakhine Nationalities Development Party) leaders are taking measures to implicate Burmese/ Barmans (Non Rakhines) in this Muslim attack project. The Rakhine merchants are donating funds to RNDP to spend in this purpose.

So far no arrests have been made for the Mosque bombings in Kokarat. In Bangladesh, the government is taking action against those who are involved in destroying Monasteries and Buddhists house torchings while allocating a sizable amount of funds to repair the Monasteries and pagodas.

But in Burma, Thein Sein's government is neither taking action against those who are responsible for bombing Mosques and torching Muslim houses nor allocated funds to repair Mosques and rehabilitation.

Casualties of village burnings, Kinipran, Pauk Taw

The Rakhine villains torched the village Kinipran, Pauk Taw, Arakan yesterday and we just came to know that more than 300 houses were burned down and some Muslims were killed.

But the report of the exact number of dead bodies is unconfirmed while writing this report. Torching Villages and killing Muslims in Arakan is becoming the routine work of Buddhist Rakhines.

The grave concern over the unrest is the collaboration of security forces in such notorious activities of Rakhines villains. But now " IslamaPhobia" is being spread in the whole country for which Rakhines are responsible. Religious and racial discrimination in Burma must be halt for ever.
