(CHICAGO) - Growing violence against Burma's minority Rohingya population has left at least 60 people dead in the last week.

Human rights physician Nora Rowley lived in Burma and worked with the Rohingya; she has incredibly rare insight and shares her thoughts about this mostly one-sided issue where Rogingya Muslims are being slaughtered and driven in to refugee status.

In the interview below, Nora discusses what she thinks the government needs to do to respond.

The first-hand accounts flowing out of Burma each day are missing the attention of most U.S. media and as Dr. Rowley states during the interview, this is looking more like Bosnia and true Genocide every day rather than ethnic cleansing.
