George Fox University Relocates Salem Teaching Center

George Fox offers four degrees in Salem: a master of arts in counseling, a master of arts in teaching (M.A.T.), a bachelor’s in management and organizational leadership, and a bachelor’s in social and behavioral studies (SBS).

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - George Fox University will move its Salem teaching facility to the Capitol City Business Center at 4600 25th Avenue NE, Suite 150 on October 15th.

The new location – formerly the State Farm Insurance building – is visible from Interstate 5. The George Fox Salem Center will have a capacity of 150 and contain a reception area, four classrooms, offices, lounge, kitchen area, and work room. The building is located near I-5 freeway exit 258.

George Fox University opened a center in south Salem in January of 2002 for its expanding graduate and degree-completion programs in the mid-Willamette Valley. The former location was at 2600 Pringle Road S.E.

George Fox University is a Christian university of the humanities, sciences, and professional studies. It offers bachelor’s degrees in more than 40 majors, degree-completion programs for working adults, a seminary, and 12 master’s and doctoral degrees. Nearly 3,200 students attend classes on the university’s campus in Newberg, at its Portland, Salem, and Boise centers, and at other teaching sites in Oregon.
