(GREENVILLE, S.C.) - As announced Sunday by the National Christian College Athletic Association office, Corban's women's soccer team is seeded fifth in the upcoming NCCAA National Tournament beginning on December 1st in Kissimmee, Florida.

The Warriors will take their 16-4-0 win-loss record to the Sunshine State where Corban will face off against the tournament's No. 4-seed Mount Vernon Nazarene in the final game on Wednesday, December 1st, beginning at 7:45 p.m. immediately following the Parade of Champions.

The MVNU Cougars are currently 14-6-0 overall and are the NCCAA East Region champions after defeating Roberts Wesleyan, 2-1, in Rochester, New York on Saturday. Under the tutelege of second-year head coach Daniel Seiffert, MVNU is returning to the NCCAA National Tournament after a one year hiatus following a fifth place finish in 2008.

This will be the second time ever that Corban and Mt. Vernon Nazarene have met on the pitch, as the Cougars defeated the Warriors, 3-2, in Salem during the 2007 season.

Corban is making its first appearance at the NCCAA National Tournament since 2003, when then-Western Baptist finished fifth overall. The Warriors are 6-4-1 all-time at the NCCAA National Tournament, as then-Western Baptist posted three runner-up finishes in 1999, 2000, and 2002.

The Warriors are guaranteed three games at the NCCAA National Tournament. Corban will face either No. 1-seed Spring Arbor University or No. 8-seed King College on Thursday, December 2nd, pending the outcome of its opening game before playing on Championship Saturday, December 4th.
