(SALEM) - D.A. Davidson & Co., the largest full-service investment firm based in the Northwest, on Tuesday announced the opening of a new office in Salem representing the company’s latest move to expand across the region. The office is in downtown Salem, in the Liberty Plaza Building located at 285 Liberty St. N.E., Suite 360. The Salem office is the fourth D.A. Davidson office serving individual investors in Oregon, along with branches in Portland, Lake Oswego and Bend. The growth follows the opening of two new offices in Washington state – in Bellingham and Walla Walla – in March and July of this year, along with the addition of financial professionals in existing offices around the Northwest. “We’re excited to continue to grow in Oregon and think that together, Davidson and Salem are a great fit,” said Jim Kerr, Senior Vice President, Regional Director for D.A. Davidson. “We think investors will be pleased with the very personalized, on-the-ground service that these professionals are providing in Oregon’s capital city.” Overseeing the new Salem office are Scott Anderson, Senior Vice President, Financial Consultant and Co-Branch Manager, and David Harle, Vice President, Financial Consultant and Co-Branch Manager. They oversee both the Lake Oswego and Salem offices for D.A. Davidson. The professionals in the new Salem office are: Jim Seyler, Senior Vice President, Financial Consultant, and Robin Kisor, Senior Registered Associate. Both Seyler and Kisor have been working in D.A. Davidson’s Lake Oswego branch since they joined the company in May 2006. Seyler joined D.A. Davidson with more than 20 years of previous experience in the securities industry, including serving as a branch manager. He most recently was with RBC Dain Rauscher in Lake Oswego. Kisor also came to D.A. Davidson with extensive experience in the securities industry, previously working with RBC Dain Rauscher in Lake Oswego. In addition to the firm’s offices in Oregon, D.A. Davidson operates offices in states that are chiefly in the Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions, including Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. The company also provides investment banking, public finance, research, asset management and insurance services to individual, institutional and corporate clients, with offices serving institutional investors in another seven states.
