High Ranking Lebanese Forces Officials Under Surveillance

(SALEM, Ore.) - An informed source revealed that Samir Geagea, leader of the Lebanese Forces has advanced cancer. He recently, after returning from a trip to Qatar due to his health deterioration, had to travel to France for treatment.

According to the report, someone close to Geagea in France said that his physical and mental condition have deteriorated and doctors have prevented his return to Lebanon to continue treatment.

After circulating the news of Samir Geagea health's deterioration, some Lebanese Forces officials tried to come to power and there was reported talk about separation from the party.

In this regard, Lebanese Forces' security service put high ranking officials under surveillance. Geagea's condition is a big concern for his two main supporters, Israel and Saudi Arabia, countries not likely to find another faithful ally like him.
