May-30-2013 10:39TweetFollow @OregonNews Do You Want a Cure for Cancer or do you Want to Stay in Afghanistan?Joe Clifford Salem-News.comI am asking my Congressional delegation to answer my specific questions, and if they cannot, then why do they continue to fund this disaster, and I ask the public, would you prefer using the 6 trillion to find a cure for cancer, or for the senseless policy in Afghanistan?
(JAMESTOWN, RI) - Since Congressional delegations only respond to inquiries in the form of computer generated gobblygook letters that speak in generic rhetoric and never answer specific questions, I ask the following of citizens, and especially of their Congressional delegation. Why are we in Afghanistan? I have yet to get an intelligent answer from anyone; so Senators and Representatives, please explain why we have killed thousands over the past 10 years. This senseless war will cost $6 trillion; yes 6 trillion dollars, and I ask Congress, what for? At a cost of $2 billion per week, what have you accomplished? What are you trying to accomplish? Why have you sacrificed so many good young American boys with either death or life long mutilation? Six trillion dollars in medical research could have found a cure for cancer thus saving millions of lives. I am asking my Congressional delegation to answer my specific questions, and if they cannot, then why do they continue to fund this disaster, and I ask the public, would you prefer using the 6 trillion to find a cure for cancer, or for the senseless policy in Afghanistan? No pinkfloyd you are incorrect. There have been two high power studies done on the cost of the war in Afghanistan, one by Brown University about one year ago and one very recently by Harvard University. The Brown study estimated the cost will be around 4b but the Harvard study said about 6b. Thanks for your input. The bank bailout totaled 12b not 6.

There are already cures for cancer, but the politicians are bought and paid for by pharma industries. So, some cures are outlawed, and other cures wont make mainstream. Lets not look at a cure for cancer anymore, there are many. Lets look at what is causing cancer. GMO food, processed meat, fast food, etc. I could go on and on, and the main stream media nor the paid off government representatives will go against the pharma industry nor the banking industry. The reason they are in Afghanistan is because of the billions made by the west to push heroin all over the world from Afghanistans poppy plants. Along with other resources they are stealing from Afghanistan. By the way, they did not spend anywhere near 6 trillion on the war in Afghanistan. Maybe 500 billion or so, but I still get your point. The 6 trillion is what obama gave the bankers in the last 4 years. 6 trillion on Afghanistan is blatent dis-info, probably from a liberal website trying to protect obama and the trillions he gives the bankers.
