Man Wounded in Salem Shooting, Man Sought by Police (AUDIO)

(SALEM) - Salem police are asking for the public`s help in locating a man who allegedly shot another man early Monday morning.

Salem police spokesman Lt. Dave Okada says just after midnight they responded a report of a man with a gunshot wound in the 1700 block of Evergreen Ave. NE.

24-year-old Brandon Brown of Salem, was transported to Salem Hospital by medics with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the left shoulder.

Police are looking 47-year-old David Aaron Mantooth, of Salem in connection with the shooting.

Anyone with information on the shooting, or knows the whereabouts of Mantooth is urged to contact the Salem Police Department at (503)588-6123.
