(SALEM) - Salem Fire crews are on the scene of a structure fire at a group home in the 4200 block of Sylvia Court SE in Salem. Fire Department spokesman Bill Holmstrom says a woman was rescued, with a total of two people being transported for injuries related to the fire. The other person that was transported was a gentleman who also lived in the home, but was injured while rescuing others. The injuries that the two people suffered in the fire did not appear to be life threatening. The cause was detrmined to be an ash tray being dumped into a garbage can next to a gallon of gas on the back patio.
