Teen Musicians Sought For Extreme Teen Band Challenge at the Marion County Fair

(SALEM) - The Marion County Fair is looking for teens who want a chance to show off their musical talents and win up to $1,000. Teen bands with a majority of band members 21 or younger are encouraged to participate in the Extreme Teen Band Challenge. On the 14th there will be many related festivities to accompany the band challenge, like BMX bike and skateboard demonstrations, basketball contest, teen makeover and more. It happens during the Marion County Fair on July 14th, and the finals are scheduled from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Oregon State Fairgrounds. The entry fee to participate in the Extreme Teen Band Challenge is $40. The deadline for entry is July 9th.
