(SALEM) - Two men are in custody after leading Salem police on a high speed chase in northeast Salem Thursday night that is reported to have exceeded 90 miles-an-hour. A Salem Police spokesman says 25-year-old Marcus Potter and 26-year-old Brain Shamberger were driving in a Jaguar that was reported to be speeding at over 90 MPH on Lansing Ave. Salem officers say they gave chase, but they didn't have to go very far. The Jaguar went airborne and landed at the intersection on Lansing Ave and Sunnyview Rd. Police say both men were logged into the Marion County Jail on numerous charges.
