Keizer Iris Parade Street Closures

Lockhaven Drive between River Road and McClure Street will be closed at 7:00 AM to prepare the parade staging area.

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - The Keizer Police Department will be closing River Road this morning for the 58th annual Keizer Iris Parade.

The parade is scheduled to get underway at 10:30 AM.

Beginning at 9:00 AM, River Road will be closed from Lockhaven Drive to Plymouth Drive. Traffic north of the street closure will be diverted to eastbound Lockhaven Drive. Traffic south of the street closure will be diverted to Cherry Avenue via Plymouth Drive. Cherry Avenue, Verda Lane and Salem Parkway will be the primary detour routes. Traffic will be allowed to cross River Road ahead of the parade at Chemawa Road, Dearborn Avenue and Manbrin Drive intersections.

Motorists are advised to find alternate routes and avoid these heavily congested areas if possible. All street closures are expected to reopen by 12:30 PM.
