Beginning at 9:00 AM, River Road will be closed from Lockhaven Drive to Plymouth Drive. Traffic north of the street closure will be diverted to eastbound Lockhaven Drive. Traffic south of the street closure will be diverted to Cherry Avenue via Plymouth Drive.

Cherry Avenue and Verda Lane will be the primary detour routes. Traffic will be allowed to cross River Road ahead of the parade at Chemawa Road, Dearborn Avenue and Manbrin Drive intersections.

Lockhaven Drive between River Road and McClure Street will be closed at 7:00 AM to prepare the parade staging area.

Claggett Street will be closed at 7:00 AM between River Road and Wittenberg Lane for the 5K Iris Run staging area.

Police say drivers should find alternate routes and avoid these heavily congested areas. Signs advising of the closure will be posted along River Road prior to the parade.
