(WALDPORT, Ore. ) - On Saturday, at about 8:06 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Gulbranson had parked his patrol vehicle in the parking lot of Ray's Food place in Waldport, Oregon. As he was entering the store, a witness approached Deputy Gulbranson and told him that a female in a white Chevrolet truck had just struck his patrol vehicle and left the scene. Deputy Gulbranson located the vehicle at the intersection of Cedar and Highway 34. Deputy Gulbranson, with the assistance of another officer, conducted an investigation and learned that 47-year-old Kathleen L. Miller, of Waldport was responsible for the damage to his patrol vehicle. Miller was cited and released for Failure to perform the Duties of a Driver (property damage). Her bail was set at $7500.
