(HEBRON Ma’an) - Israeli forces on Monday morning damaged agriculture lands and destroyed an electric network and water wells in Beit Ula village west of Hebron, officials said.

The bulldozers uprooted trees and were causing continuous damage, a spokesman for the popular committee in Beit Ula said.

Issa al-Amleh told Ma’an that Israeli forces accompanied by bulldozers raided two areas of the village and damaged lands. He called on the international community to stop the Israeli attacks.

Mayor Mohammad al-Amleh said Israeli forces destroyed a 700-meter long electric network. Israeli forces aim to leave Beit Ula in “total darkness, and prevent farmers from reaching their lands,” he said.

Parts of Beit Ula are classified as Area C, land under the full military control of Israel.

Israeli forces frequently destroy infrastructure built without obtaining permits from the military authorities. Palestinians say the vast majority of applications are rejected.
