(SALEM) - Marion County teens have an opportunity to win an Extreme Teen Makeover at the Marion County Fair this summer.

Four teens will be treated to a professional hair color and cut by Today's Hair, a manicure by Denise Anderson of Attitudes Salon, makeup or skin care consultation, and attire to show off their new look.

Any Marion County middle or high school-aged teen (boy or girl) can enter by completing an application, submitting a current photograph, and writing a short essay that answers the question, "Why should you (or your sister, brother, friend) be selected for a makeover?"

Application forms are available on the fair Web site at www.mcfair.net or by calling (503) 585-9998.

Applications are due no later than June 9th.

The Extreme Teen Makeover is a featured event of Extreme Teen Challenge Day at the Marion County Fair on Friday, July 14th.

Teen admission will be only $1 that day.

Other fair activities for youth will include BMX bike demonstrations, three-on-three basketball and free-throw challenge, an Extreme Teen Band Challenge, and carnival ride discounts.
