Suspects, Vehicle Sought in Salem Armed Robbery, Carjacking

Police ask for help in finding robbery suspects

(SALEM) - Authorities are asking for the public`s help in locating a man and a woman, plus locating a victim`s vehicle from an armed robbery and carjacking incident that occurred Monday in northeast Salem.

Sheriff`s spokesman Jeff Wheeler says the victim was approached by a man in the parking lot of the Emperor`s Palace Restaurant on Center Street.

The suspect then pointed a handgun at the victim and made him drive his car to the 7200 block of State Street, where the suspect made the victim undress to his underwear and left him along side the roadway.

Wheeler said a female suspect followed the two men to the State Street location in a late 80`s model Dodge sedan white in color.

The male suspect is described as white, in his 20`s, 5`8 to 5`10, and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. The female suspect was only described as white.

Police are also searching for the victim`s vehicle:
a 1999 Honda CRV, black in color, with Oregon lic. #CL72594.
