(SALEM) - The Salem Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 1700 block of Commercial Street SE on Monday, March 27th at 3:00 PM. First arriving fire fighter/paramedics discovered a Ford F150 truck had collided with two parked cars. The driver and two occupants, two young children, were not injured due to the accident. The driver stated he started coughing and must have blacked out for a moment. One southbound lane of Commercial Street SE was closed for approximately an hour due to the incident.
