St. Patrick's Day was celebrated on the streets of Downtown Salem and throughout the Reed Opera House, bringing the spirit of the day to all.

(SALEM) - St. Patrick's Day was celebrated by hearty revelers in Downtown Salem, and Salem-News.com's Tim King caught up with a roving bagpipe player who toured the Reed Opera House entertaining everyone along the way.

And yes, by the way, they do play the bagpipes in Ireland!

Here is a video report with no words, just the tunes of the roving bagpipe player serenading the guests in one of Salem's most interesting and oldest buildings.
