(SALEM) - Keizer Police are on the scene of a reported robbery at the empty building that was Roth's Supermarket on the corner of River Road and Chemawa.

One of the two Brink's security team allegedly called police from the truck, and said the other partner was inside the "ATM room" with a person wearing a black mask. He was apparently encountered by the masked man and then entered the ATM room, where he or they remain at this time.

There have been reports of a gun being involved, that has not been confirmed.

We are unsure if the security personnel is a hostage, or not. Police have dogs on the perimeter.

The sun is shining and that has naturally increased foot traffic, and police would like to encourage citizens to keep their distance from this volatile area.

Traffic is affected in the area of River Road and Chemawa, in Keizer.

We have a team at the scene and will bring more of this BREAKING story to you as soon as possible.
