(ALBANY) - Performing dogs, actors, and rubber stamp art will highlight programs for children at Albany Public Library during public school spring vacation at the end of March. Border Collie International will entertain and educate with their four unique and gifted canines showing football, basketball, baseball, and soccer skills Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at 2:00 PM. Everyone is invited to this program. Seating will be limited. The Albany Civic Theater and the Library will collaborate to present two acting workshops: `Making It Up As You Go: Improv for Kids," Wednesday, March 29th, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM; and `I Want to Be On Stage: An Acting Workshop for Kids," Thursday, March 30th, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Both free workshops are limited to 16 participants aged 8 to 11. Call the Children`s Room, at 917-7583, to register. Corvallis artist Michelle Read will lead a spring rubber stamp art class Friday, March 31st, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. No registration or age limitations apply to this program.
