A mafia network in Azerbaijan expands their monopoly of gambling clubs.
(BAKU, Azerbaijan) - The rapid expansion of "underground" casinos in Baku and other Azerbaijani cities has become a particular social phenomenon.
According to the Sizinyol Website, over the past few months, a large number of casinos have been established in Xetai, Bineqedi, Sabail, Absheron, Yasamal and other areas in Baku.
The fast development of these gambling clubs, including tempting promotions and free activities luring people through the doors in the center of Baku indicates that these centers are supported by high-ranking government figures especially Kamal al-Din Haydarov and Ali Hasanov.
In these replicated gambling centers, regulations, some staff and even the design are the same.
It is widely understood that a mafia network has been enabled in Azerbaijan to expand and support gambling clubs and has held a monopoly as supported by the government.
Following the economic crisis and the sharp decline in the value of Manat against the dollar, and the spread of unemployment and poverty, as well as extensive modifications throughout offices and commercial and non-commercial centers, we witness the formation of the social crisis in Azerbaijan and some greedy treacherous officials of the country benefit from increased profits and control social emotions through the spread of drugs, gambling and corruption centers.
