(ALBANY) - Two Linn County men that died in a crash on Santiam Highway early Saturday morning have been identified as 20-year old Todd Boone of Albany and 20-year old Joshua Perkins of Lyons. Albany Police responded to the scene at 1:22 AM Saturday in the 2100 block of SE Santiam Highway. The crash involved a 1999 Honda Civic and a 1999 Ford Expedition. Albany Chief Edward Boyd says two of the four occupants of the Honda Civic were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and remaining passenger from the Honda Civic were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis where they were treated and released. The driver and passenger of the Ford Expedition were transported to Albany General Hospital where they were treated and released. The Multi Agency Accident Investigation Team (MAAIT) was called in to investigate the crash scene. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
