William Nicholas Gomes is advocating for justice and peace as Christians are being killed in Pakistan. William Gomes is a Bangladeshi journalist and human rights activist, and was a visiting fellow at the Centre for Applied Human Rights at the University of York in 2012. He has also worked for the Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC). Mr. Gomes took a unique initiative, by spreading a small message,. In this message he included Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Aamna Taseer, the wife of Salmaan Taseer, Governor of Pakistan's Punjab province, Salman Taseer, who died after being shot in the Pakistani capital city Islamabad, Ali Dayan, Human Rights Watch Pakistan, Sherry Rehman, who is accused of committing "blasphemy, a crime that carries the death penalty" in Pakistan, and Syed Munawar Hasan Amer (President) of Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan, a Pakistani businessman and politician who served as the 26th governor of the province of Punjab from 2008 until his assassination in early 2011.
