Mar-07-2016 21:38TweetFollow @OregonNews The Godfather of Terror: Anti-Iran Terrorist Mujahadeen-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) Cooperates With ISISSalem-News.com Foreign AffairsIraqi media disclosed MKO's role in Saudi-led campaign in tarnishing Mobilization Forces' image.
(BAGHDAD) - According to well-informed security sources, Iraqi Federal Police foiled a suicide attack by a group of MKO terrorists who attempt to target a gathering of prominent Sunni clerics. Maryam Rajavi, the self-styled president of People's Mujahedin of Iran, has ordered her clique to develop close relation with ISIS field commanders. Observers believe that due to MKO's military acumen in guerrilla wars and committing myriad of terror operations against civilians, the remnants of this terrorist group serve as valuable tools for ISIS in murdering key Iraqi figures. Qatari and Saudi-funded media stepped up their vicious attack against Iraqi Army and Popular Forces amid increasing speculations of a major terror attack by MKO. Frustrated with recent military setbacks, Riyadh seeks to stoke ethnic fire in Iraq by carrying out terror attacks, insiders say, by using ISIS and MKO to liquidate the leading Sunni leaders and then pointing fingers at the Army and Iraqi resistance. _________________________________________

I'm no fan of the MKO, but this report doesn't make much sense. It presents a series of conspiracy theories which appear to contradict one another. It accuses the largely Shiite MKO of attacking a group of Sunni clerics, but then also says that the MKO is working with ISIS, which has become notorious for human rights violations against Shiites. So which is it? Are the MKO and ISIS attacking Sunnis, Shiites, or both? And if it's both, how does that play into the claimed Saudi plot to "stoke ethnic fire"? There's a point at which this sort of narrative boils down to, "All the killing is being carried out by all the people we don't like, who are all working together, despite having wildly different motivations." And that's absolutely absurd.
