Time to Act Now for the Liberation of Gaza

(GAZA CITY) - Mubarak may have stepped down, but until the Mubarak era Egyptian blockade of Gaza is shattered, the Egyptian revolution is incomplete. We must end this Zionist/American imperialist blockade once and for all.

For such short notice, the proposed Gaza March and Convoy is receiving excellent response in Egypt. Thousands and thousands of fliers have been handed out.

Virtually everyone is positive and many said thank God someone is doing this. We will have at least a hundred 200 people in buses and we know some of the others will be going in vehicles.

As the video below shows, there are almost no sufficient ways for the residents of Gaza to receive the materials needed to rebuild homes lost during Israeli bombing raids. The need is great and the prolonged suffering of people here is inexcusable. The tunnels that are the only option for bringing materials in, are terribly dangerous.

It is important to remember that reports about the Rafah border being open are false. Only a few hundred people are being allowed to move back and forth each day, and that is not an open border.
