Amber Alert Canceled for California Toddler

The California Highway Patrol canceled the Amber Alert on Thursday afternoon after the boy was found safe in Oakland and the suspect taken into custody.

(DUBLIN, Calif.) - The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert Thursday afternoon after a boy was reportedly abducted late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning in Dublin California.

The suspect was last known to be in the Oakland area. The alert is now over and the boy is safe.

They describe Justin Knottingham as a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He stands 3 feet tall and weighs 48 pounds. Justin was wearing a grey T-shirt with Buzz Lightyear on the front.

Police say the suspect was Harold Bennett, a white male, 36-years old, five foot nine inches, weighing 245 pounds, bald with brown eyes. He was reportedly driving a blue 2004 four-door Honda Civic.
