Let's See the Dawn of 'Thamil Eelam'

“This shocking proof of secret war crimes committed during the Sri Lankan Civil War urgently needs to be shared with the world” - Callum Macrae

(LONDON PFLT) - “Geopolitics is drowning the lamentations over the legitimate aspirations of the Sri Lankan Tamils for equity, justice and fair play and the perennial human-rights questions that arise when the state violates the integrity of the individual”, wrote M K Bhadrakumar, a career diplomat in the Indian Foreign Service, on the 26th of May 2009, under the heading, ‘Sri Lanka wards off Western Bullying’. This is now a true and proven historical thought!

Digging our own graves

After staging the worst genocide, humanity has ever seen and for the first time carried out jointly by India, the master planner and executioner, effective and transparent USA and the schemer and crafty and shrewd UK, and assisted by all the major establishments of the world, not to mention the UN. A torturing structural genocide is now being conducted almost as a daily routine against the remaining Eelam Tamils and their nation in the island.

This is facilitated by an agenda agreed upon and legitimised at Geneva by the ultimate culprits, especially New Delhi and Washington, silently buttressed by London. The pressure that is now exerted on Tamil leaders to accept the 13th Amendment or any provincial deception under the unitary constitution of the genocide State, whether in the guise of a ‘starting point’ or not, aims at making Tamils, to confirm their own genocide. In the last four years both New Delhi and Washington proved nothing in stopping the structural genocide, but demonstrated only to the contrary.

The truth we proclaim

We had the 4th, 18th of May after the massacres of thousands of our people in cold blood in Mullivaikkal? What we did on that day? May be, that we simply remembered the passing away of our loved ones. No we have been very naïve and simply taken for a ride by the master planners in Delhi and London.

“We are here for a great reason. Beneath the pain of the loss of our dearest ones there is a deep down secret that we know. We are here to proclaim that secret to the whole world. What is the secret? Even when they were threatened with total annihilation with unbearable firepower the Tamil people could not be forced into subjugation. That is the truth we proclaim to the whole world today.” This should have been the sacred thought of every Tamil and others who value humanity and wish good for us the Tamils. This is the message that will lead to the reclamation of our traditional and historical motherland.

“This shocking proof of secret war crimes committed during the Sri Lankan Civil War urgently needs to be shared with the world”. These are the sincere and enthusiastic words of great Callum Macrae At Frontline Club when the third documentary, ‘No Fire zone’ was shown, Callum asked me, “You had been in Vanni, have you met Isai Piriya?” Both of us were silent, I managed to nod my head, instead of saying “yes once”.

Well, I will tell the story of our London Madam Doctor who on behalf of GTF appeared on GTV in April 2009, to make an appeal asking our people to join the mass rally suddenly organized by the then GTF in order to disperse our people protesting the slaughtering of our kith and kin, from the West Minister green, an irritation to the then Labour government, a perpetrator of the Tamils genocide.

She again appeared to appeal to our people to join the GTF organized remembrance rally, but insisted the importance of boycotting the CHOM with her tutored flimsy arguments, like Cameron visiting Sri Lanka. In short she wanted the funeral service; say something like a ‘stag do/bachelor party’.

“We the unwilling, lead by the unknowing have been told that never before have so few done so much for so many with so little for so long that we are beginning to think that we can do almost anything with almost nothing.” Not Known: but a common saying among members of the Libertarian Party of Nevada in the 1970’s. Let us see the relevance. Because this is happening even today! This involves the Tamils who were the victims of the most horrible, still well documented genocide ever to happen in the so called modern world. Let us simply ask ourselves what we are doing?

Need of the day, follow the greats

“There were no more mourners left in the land of Vanni to mourn for the dead. Lands of the living didn’t send any comforters’ to the land of the dead. Hearts of the world became stones and the so called leaders of the world had once again revealed their ugly faces”, this is what Richard Dixon wrote on 12th July, 2009 under the heading, “The Time of Judgement has arrived to the Land of Terror”.

He concluded his great contribution to mankind saying further, “Thousands of surrendered and wounded rebels were brutally murdered. Military tanks rolled over the dying and the golden beaches of Sri Lanka were turned into red carpets with the blood of the innocents”. Every Tamil will remember these words and visualize the tragedy and do at least what is right to reach our goal, at least on the 18th may, the day of remembrance.

Now it is high-time we remembered and recollected the mass rally, held on the 18th May afternoon, around Hyde Park, organized by the notorious and controversial the so called British Tamil Forum. When I saw their prominent black flier, two of the messages drew my attention. They are;

To commend on the spirit of Tamil Nadu Students and to foster our further support and

To keep up the flame of Tamil Liberation and Nationalism alight in Tamil Eelam as well as abroad. On the first week of April there was happy and encouraging news, “India-Students- Rising for Eelam… Tamil Spring!

RAW and it’s agenda

As a result of the student protests, a historic resolution was passed in Tamil Nadu State assembly demanding UN referendum for the independence of Tamil Eelam. Now, this resolution should be also passed in the Indian Parliament and proceed with the same in the UN Assembly, declared the student leaders vowing that the fire set ablaze by the student upsurge in Tamil Nadu will not go away till the formation of Tamil Eelam, in a release.

The key words of the message are, “Genocide, Eelam and UN Referendum”. These words were neither heard nor seen prominently in the so called GTF organized mass rally. This is an attempt to sabotage the efforts of the Tamil Nadu students, an agenda of the shameful and desperate RAW.

It is not difficult to guess what is now happening in Tamil Nadu. RAW’s agents will approach the students and skilfully discourage them, saying, “Look here, I just returned from the London mass rally. Look at the placards and banners...what you see Prince Charles, Cameron and nothing about Eelam, Genocide and UN Referendum…the Eelam Tamils have given up all that …; What are you doing here?”

The most prominent and the leading banner was one saying, “Saddam, Gaddafi, Milošević Punished. Sri Lankan President Rewarded, Why this double standard?” (See picture above).

These past great leaders have thousands and thousands of followers. The purpose of this banner in my sincere belief is to identify the Tamils with the notorious Imperialist forces and an attempt to bring about a wedge between the great Arabs and Tamils. This screwed move is definitely that of a hired reputation management professional!

The main person is a gentleman known as Root Ravi who claims that he is the Co-ordinator of GTF and on that day he was one of the speakers among the usual parliamentarians, the temple drummers (Kovil Merlems). In his clearly prepared speech he mentioned his key words, ”Political solution” and cleverly omitted the three key words of the Tamil Spring.

Determination and alertness need of the day! “At every May 18th remembrance, Tamils throughout the world should repeat the phrase “In every generation, Sri Lanka will rise against us.” Sadly, this particular truism manifested itself in the unspeakable genocide of our people since the independence in 1948. Today, the threat comes from our own actions which have vowed to destroy the Tamil people. I truly believe that a divided strategy by Tamil organizations and the misdirection of young Tamils represents the most serious threat to Tamils survival “says Dr. Jude Lal Fernando, under the heading ‘Do not consider powers culpable in Tamil genocide as saviours’ (TamilNet, Saturday, 18 May 2013).

Those who have become wealthy due to corruption and war are thieves; they do not deserve what they have. “Thankfully, Tamils generally do not allow themselves to be swallowed by the weight of these simpletons who seek to bury six decades of structural issues of Sri Lanka by waxing eloquence about ‘reconciliation’ and planting trees in the North. These are not mean organizations. They are crazy organizations with mean ideas. We cannot allow our self-worth to be defined by such ignorant idiotic bullies,” told me so, a good friend of mine from Jaffna.

Thamil Eelam, there for us to claim!

The Tamil people deserve to have their rights protected. Yet they now face a systematic attempt by a conquering, vindictive government to erase them from the country’s future and the nation’s collective memory. By definition, you can’t have reconciliation or stability when certain groups are perennially subjugated. The international community knows this well, but they will not give up.

Eelam Tamils and their politicians should never forget that the genocide was staged and is being continued by New Delhi, which they were always looking upon as saviour, and by England and Washington-led West with which they never had any qualms in history. Yet the powers didn’t hesitate on staging the genocide. It is time to ask that how could we ‘co-operate’ any further with our own genocide of Tamils. Tamils under the leadership of Liberation Tigers are now at the crest of the struggle. You are humbly advised to follow the leadership of PFLT, the lawful democratized humble and friendly leaders. Visit www.pflt.

Aware of all this, what is the international community waiting for? A U.N. mechanism that would allow the international community to act decisively and initiate independent investigations and conduct a U.N. supervised referendum on options for peaceful coexistence is long overdue. This is by far the best way to achieve real reconciliation.

His life as a journalist begins with the Sri Lanka Tamil Diaspora. This event which began shortly after WWII and heated up violently in the 1970's and 80's, has caused a 20% decline in the population of the Tamil Sri Lanka culture in the last 30 years alone. Born in Jaffna, Bala also spent part of his life working in Colombo, but like so many, he lost his house and escaped from the 1983 pogrom, the year remembered for a murderous event against Tamils known as 'Black July' which left thousands dead.

When Mr. Balasubramaniam left Sri Lanka with his wife and three sons and went to work in the Middle-east, where he worked as a telecom engineer. In 1989 he moved to the UK mainly because of his children's education. Nadarajah Balasubramaniam has been associated with the liberation struggle of Tamil Eelam since 1972.
