(McMINNVILLE, Ore. ) - Oregon State Police, with the assistance of McMinnville Police Department, arrested a wanted Salem woman following a driving-related incident Thursday afternoon. At approximately 3:21 p.m., OSP and Yamhill County 9-1-1 received driving complaints of an erratically driven Dodge pickup eastbound on Highway 18 near milepost 40 west of McMinnville. An OSP trooper saw the pickup near milepost 43 with a long line of traffic trailing behind it. The trooper got in position and attempted to stop the pickup as it entered McMinnville but the driver failed to yield. The trooper exited the patrol car and went up to the pickup where he opened the door. The pickup was placed in park and then the female driver directed outside at approximately 3:34 p.m. Subsequent investigation identified the driver as 24-year-old Tiffany Marie Westmoreland, from Salem. OSP Northern Command Center dispatch confirmed she was wanted on a felony warrant out of Clackamas County for Fail to Appear - Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. She was also operating with suspended driving privileges. Westmoreland was arrested and lodged in the Yamhill County Jail on the felony warrant and following local charges: DUII Reckless Driving Felony Attempt to Elude in a Vehicle Recklessly Endangering Another Person She was also cited for Driving While Suspended.
