Gilad Atzmon and Lauren Booth Discuss BDS & IntegrityIntroduction by Tim King Salem-News.com
Lauren Booth and Gilad are both London-based Salem-News.com writers.
(SALEM / LONDON) - Gilad Atzmon appeared on Lauren Booth's Remembering Palestine program on Press TV, talking about BDS (Boycott Divestment and Sanctions) & Integrity.
Gilad said, "We spoke about BDS and its crucial role but also about the corrosive impact of liberal Zionist support".
Lauren Booth and Gilad are both London-based Salem-News.com writers. Gilad's new book 'The Wandering Who?' is an incredible account of the Palestine-Israel conflict and it places particular emphasis on the notion of religious identity politics.
It is true that the western world lives under the assumption that Israel is a democratic state which is extremely far from accurate. Israel actually maintains separate laws for those who are Jewish, and others like Muslims and Christians who are not even allowed to visit holy sites at night. Israel even has 'Jewish only' roads to typify the government's position toward minorities.
Indeed, Israel is a US financed apartheid government; it has different standards and rules for people and the 'Goyam' (non-Jews) are treated little better than animals, and it is all by design.
The land that 'Israel' legally possesses according to the United Nations, is a fraction of the ground it holds. Beginning in 1947 and continuing through today, Israeli settlers steal Palestinian land and they are history killers, literally erasing signs of ancient Biblical Palestinian villages and towns, olive groves and landmarks, in order to build brand new heavily armed Israeli 'settlement housing'.
It is time for Yanks and Brits and also the Canucks... eh, to pay particular attention to the nuts and bolts of this story, the apartheid laws help nobody.
The interview touches on an increasing problem, that is Zionist infiltration into the pro-Palestine movement.
Gilad always speaks very clearly, the problem is a political one and the defence of the Israeli camp is to cry 'antisemitism' over objections to Israel's human rights violations. This is a great interview.
