River Rhythms Free Concert Series Lineup Set

This year's lineup includes Eddie Money, Curtis Salgado, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds.

Eddie's new album, "Wanna Go Back", contains new recordings of twelve classic hit songs, all hand picked by Eddie.

(ALBANY, Ore. ) - Albany Parks & Recreation has announced the lineup for the 24th season of the River Rhythms concert series.

Here is this year’s lineup for the free concert series:

  • July 5th: Pat Green (country)
  • July 12th: The Coats (a cappella, pop)
  • July 19th: Eddie Money (at the Linn County Fair)
  • July 26th: Curtis Salgado (soul, blues)
  • August 2nd: Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie (Zydeco)
  • August 9th: The Fabulous Thunderbirds (blues/rock)
  • August 16th: Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone (British pop)

River Rhythms concerts take place on Thursdays at Monteith Riverpark in downtown Albany.

Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.

Performances begin at 7:00 PM. The blanket seating area opens at 4:00 PM.

Concert-goers who want to sit in chairs can set them up earlier in the day. Local food vendors offer a variety of food for sale during the concerts, and children can take part in art activities prior to the musical performances.

No pets are allowed in the park during the performances. Limited handicapped parking is available.
