(CANBY, Ore.) - Police say one man is in custody for hitting two Canby men with a tire iron at 1802 N Pine Street in Canby. They say 23-year old Bryce N. Deller of Canby was arrested for Assault II of the the assault that happened June 3rd at 10:45 PM. Detective Chris Mead with Canby Police says Deller allegedly approached the victims and began to argue with them over some issues with his girlfriend. "During this encounter, Deller hit one of the victims on the head with a tire iron he had in his hand. Deller then hit the other victim on the shoulder as they were all fighting." Mead says the two victims were transported to Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City and later released with non life threatening injuries. Deller was lodged at Clackamas County Jail after his arrest. The case is being referred to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office.
