(COLTON, Ore.) - Investigators in Clackamas County say 23-year old Victor Ryan Proffitt of Colton, was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday at approximately 2:00 AM, when three, masked male suspects forced entry into his residence while demanding money at gunpoint.

Victor Proffitt told police he recently received a modest cash disability payment as a result of a civil settlement.

"Obviously, the armed intruders were knowledgeable of this confidential information and targeting this money by verbally demanding of Proffitt, 'Where is the settlement money – where is the settlement money?' Clackamas County Sheriff's Detective Jim Strovink said.

"These armed residential robbery suspects are also described to have remained in the residence where Victor Proffitt resides, and alone at the time of this event, for an estimated 30-minute interval."

During this robbery event Victor Proffitt says he was held at gunpoint while the masked suspects ransacked his residence and vehicle for items of value.

"During this time, Proffitt reports the excited trio is believed to have referred to each other by their first names, Mike, Joe and Miguel, as the activity in the residence became more and more frenzied while the suspects searched for any items of value," Strovink said.

He added that, "At one point, these frantic robbers received a cellular phone call from the apparent getaway driver and announced aloud, 'Christina called – Christina called!' Also providing the name of the presumed getaway driver -- as a full sized pick-up truck promptly arrived in the area following this announcement by one of the suspects."

Victor Proffitt describes the suspects and suspect vehicle as "MIKE" who was a white male adult, 20-25 years of age, 5'11", 250 +, with a ‘huge' stomach, short brown hair. Wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans, dark colored bandana covering his face.

Suspect number two is "Joe" who is another white male adult, 20-25 years of age, 6' – 6'02", thin build. Also wearing dark colored hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and bandana. Suspect "Joe" was described to have been wearing a pair of gray colored Nike's.

The third suspect "Miguel" is described as a Hispanic male adult, 20-25 years of age, 5'06", and medium build, wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

Strovink says at least two of these armed suspects were described to have been wearing a pair of shoes popular with members of the skateboarding community.

"The 'FF' brand is quite trendy with skateboarders, and the logo 'FF' is prominently featured on this brand of shoe," Strovink said.

"The suspects fled the residence to the arriving suspect vehicle, presumed to be operated by a driver referred to by the suspects as 'Christina'."

This getaway vehicle is only described as a large, dark colored, full-size pick-up truck, which may have a canopy affixed. This suspect vehicle with occupants and stolen property was last observed southbound on S Hwy 211, near the S Elwood Road intersection.

Stolen from the residence during this robbery event are the following items described as: a large, LCD, flat screen television, AQUIOS brand; some U.S. Currency; clothing; hats, and a Play station 3 game.
