(SILVERTON, Ore.) - About 4:15PM Thursday, OSP Troopers and emergency crews responded to the report of a two vehicle, head-on collision on Highway 213 near milepost 22 (near Scotts Mill).

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2003 Toyota Sienna van was traveling southbound when it drifted off the roadway, lost control and came back onto the highway.

The Toyota crossed the centerline at an angle where it was struck on the passenger side by a northbound 1999 Acura sedan.

The driver of the Toyota and his front passenger, both adult males, were pronounced deceased on scene.

An adult female and a two year old (passengers in the Toyota) were taken to Oregon Health and Sciences (OHSU) for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Acura was also taken to OHSU for non-life threatening injuries.

Highway 213 was closed for approximately four hours while the investigation was conducted. OSP was assisted by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Silverton Fire, Monitor Fire, Molalla Fire and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
