Isaac Lee Roberts, age 40, was reported missing July 29, 2012 by his wife to Wallowa County Sheriff's Office.

(WALLOWA) - One year after a 40-year old Coeur d-Alene, Idaho man was reported missing and presumed to be a homicide victim, law enforcement officers spread out in the Joseph, Oregon community Wednesday posting bulletins to help develop tips as Chief Joseph Days kicks into high gear in Wallowa County.

A reward was offered by the man's family to help investigators in this case.

Isaac Lee Roberts, age 40, was reported missing July 29, 2012 by his wife to Wallowa County Sheriff's Office.

Roberts traveled to the area for Chief Joseph Days on his motorcycle.

After arriving in the area, he is believed to have been in the company of at least two Union County residents.

These two people are considered persons of interest and their names have not been released by investigators.

Unconfirmed information indicates Roberts may have traveled to Lewiston, Idaho with one of the persons of interest and investigators believe he went missing during this return trip to Oregon under suspicious circumstances.

The missing person investigation evolved into a homicide investigation for which the Major Crime Team, composed of representatives from Oregon State Police, Wallowa County Sheriff's Office, La Grande Police Department, Union County Sheriff's Office, and Wallowa County District Attorney's Office, was activated.

The Wallow County Sheriff's Office and OSP Criminal Investigation Division also requested assistance from the FBI.

Roberts is described as a white male, 6'3", 215 lbs, ash blonde hair, green eyes, with a long goatee and no mustache.

He has an upper right arm tattoo (see photo) and was last known to be wearing a gray t-shirt with the words "Lone Wolf Harley" on the front left upper chest and back, a black Harley Davidson vest, blue jeans, black boots, and a black "skull cap / do-rag" with Harley Davidson logo on front.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of ROBERTS is asked to call OSP at (541) 963-7174 or email tips to crimetips2OSP@state.or.us.

Information should have as much detail as possible and contact information for follow-up by investigators. Tips should include specific details including the type of case and information related to the criminal investigation. Even though tips may be received anonymously, those providing tips are encouraged to give contact information for follow-up by investigators, if needed.

The family had initially offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading investigators to Roberts' location.
