Police Searching for Suspects After Stabbing in Salem

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem police are searching for suspects after a stabbing this morning near Hyacinth St and Portland Road in northeast Salem that sent at least one person to the hospital.

Police and medics responded to the Hyacinth Square Apartments, located at 2540 Hyacinth St NE, around 7:15 AM.

Salem Police Spokesman Lt. Dave Okada says one person has been transported to Salem Hospital with stab wounds to his back. That person's condition is not known at this time Okada said.

Okada says multiple police units and at least one K-9 unit are on scene trying to track down suspects.
