(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Dr. Lawrence Ronald Litwer of Portland, Oregon was sentenced today to 60-months in the Oregon penitentiary for crimes involving contact with an underage female. Litwer pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree Attempted Sex Abuse. Litwer was first arrested on April 17th 2009, for having sexual contact with a teenage girl. (see: Newberg Urgent Care Doctor Arrested on Sex Abuse Charges - Salem-News.com). Washington County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Dave Thompson, says that when Ronald Litwer was first arrested, Sheriff’s detectives were concerned that his position as an urgent care doctor could have led to other incidents of abuse. The Newberg Urgent Care physician was originally accused of sexually touching a teenage girl during the time she was 14 to 16 yeas old. The girl was not a patient of Dr. Litwer and the charges do not stem from that location.
